Thomas Buchanan Selected as Charter Member of Bush School Ambassadors Council

Thomas Buchanan from Corpus Christi, TX was recently selected to serve as a charter member of the Ambassadors of the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. Buchanan is a second-year student enrolled in the Master of International Affairs degree program.

The Ambassadors Council was founded in the spring of 2012 and is currently comprised of twenty one students enrolled in the School's masters' programs. "Our goal is to increase the visibility of Bush School students with various constituencies at Bush School events and around campus and the state, including supporters, potential students, and the community at large," said Ambassadors Council president, Rob Altman. "We're looking for members who are dependable and comfortable in leadership roles and social settings," he added.

Ranked among the top public affairs programs at public universities, the Bush School's mission is to educate principled leaders in public and international affairs, conduct research, and perform service. The Bush School offers two degrees-a Master of Public Service and Administration and a Master of International Affairs-as well as Certificates in National Security Affairs, Advanced International Affairs, China Studies, Nonprofit Management, and Homeland Security.
